29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employee(s) working in an aerial lift were sitting or climbing on the edge of the basket:    a) On or about 6/19/13 at a renovation project located a 114 Main Street, Geneseo, New York; employees were using a Genie Z-34/22 articulating boom aerial lift to access the roof. The lift was placed approximately a foot and a half from the roof edge with the top rail near the eave and the employees were climbing the edge of the basket to get on and off from the roof.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a) On or about 6/19/13 at a renovation project located at 114 Main Street, Geneseo, New York; employees were installing a metal roof that had a pitch of approximately 6 in 12 and eave heights varying from 6 to 28 feet. There was no fall protection in use.    NO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
