29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a. In the spray paint area, for the employee exposed to the hazards associated with paint chemicals as observed on or about 06/25/2013. The spray painter is required to use a 3M, model 6001, half face respirator, with dual organic vapor cartridges and pre-filters, during the spraying operations. The employer had not established a written program to address elements such as but not limited to: medical evaluations, fit-testing, training, selection, and periodic evaluations.
