OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment in a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious phyisical harm to employees: (a) On or about June 26, and at times prior, employees were potentially exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while operating automotive lifts under the following conditions: 1) Auto lifts were not periodically inspected by qualified inspectors at least annually to ensure that they were properly maintained and functioning Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
