Compressed air shall not be used for cleaning purposes except where reduced to less than 30 p.s.i. and then only with effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment. Star Machines: Employees utilizing compressed air to clean under and around the "Star" machines were not protected against flying object hazards. Employees are using compressed air, over 30 p.s.i., for cleaning purposes. Abatement Documentation or certification is not required for this item.
