29 CFR 1926.405(g)(2)(iv): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided to prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about June 27, 2013, employees performing metal side wall installation work on a commercial building utilized an extension cord that had the outer sheathing pulled away from the internal wiring to power electrical tools such as but not limited to a DeWalt Model DWD110 Serial # 101566 drill exposing employees to electrical shock hazards.
