29 CFR 1926.300(a): Hand tool(s), power tool(s) or similar equipment were not maintained in a safe condition: a) Jobsite located at 513 Weldon Court, Millen GA - on or about June 27, 2013, the employer did not ensure power hand tools such as a Makita Variable Speed Reciprocating Saw, was maintained in a safe condition. The Makita Variable Speed Reciprocating Saw was without strain relief where the power cord entered the handle, thus exposing the employee to electric shock hazards. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS NOT REQUIRED
