29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area:   (a) On or about 07/03/2013, dishwashing area, employees perform operations such as dishwashing. Employees work with/around hazardous chemicals such as, but not limited to, corrosive oasis sanitizer, apex power, and apex manual detergent. Employees were not provided with information and training on the hazards of the chemicals they work with or are exposed to in their work area.   Culinary Institute of America was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1200(h)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection #311980734, Citation 1, Item 2. This citation was issued 09/02/2009, became a final order on 09/25/2009 and had final abatement day of 09/25/2009.
