Rear of the Facility, Rear Exit Route Door - The employer did not keep an exit route free and unobstructed. Several boxes of bottle water were stacked in front of the door. Observed On or About July 2, 2013

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(4): If the direction of travel to the exit or exit discharge is not immediately apparent, signs were not posted along the exit access indicating the direction of travel to the nearest exit and exit discharge. Additionally, the line-of-sight to an exit sign must clearly be visible at all times. a. Rear Exit Route Door and Rear Area - The employer did not provide an exit directional sign to indicate the direction of travel to reach the nearest exit that discharged to the outside of the building. Also, the exit sign that was posted above the rear exit route door had two directional arrows. Observed On or About July 2, 2013
