OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees:      a) On or about April 30, 2013, and at times prior, employees were potentially exposed to crushing and struck-by hazards while operating automotive lifts under the following conditions:    1) Auto lifts were not periodically inspected by qualified inspectors at least annually to ensure that they were properly maintained and functioning.
