29 CFR 1926.300(b)(1): Power operated tool(s), designed to accommodate guards, were not equipped with such guards when in use:    a) 2200 Benjamin franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA  The employees were operating the 3800 RPM DeWalt chop saw, Model #DW871, Serial #735072, which was not equipped with a lower adjustable guard, thus exposing a portion of the cutting blade when in operation. This hazard exposed the employees to flying parts, chips, sparks and amputations.This violation was observed on or about June 12, 2013.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
