Worksite located at 6460 N. Cosby Ave., Kansas City, Missouri- Employees of a sub-contractor were observed working and walking on roof gables without the use of any means of fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder�s length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a). Worksite located at 6460 N. Cosby Ave., Kansas City, Missouri- Sub-contracted employees were exposed to fall hazards in that the ladders used by the employees to access the gables were not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface.
