29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a. Site- The controlling contractor failed to ensure that employees working from a parapet wall were protected from a fall of approximately 15 feet. On or about July 3,2013 two workers were working from the top of a parapet wall, approximately 15 feet from the ground, without fall protection in plain view of the employer's site superintendent.
