29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) At Lot 30 Barkley Crest Subdivision Auburn, Alabama: On or about July 10, 2013 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees to walk the framed walls of a residential home under construction without fall protection exposing them to fall hazards of 16.3 feet to the ground below. b) At Lot 30 Barkley Crest Subdivision Auburn, Alabama: On or about July 10, 2013 and at times prior; the employer allowed his employees employees to walk the joists on the second level of a residential home under construction without fall protection exposing them to fall hazards of 10.2 feet to the ground below.
