29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: a) Rear of Site, Retaining Wall - Concrete workers were exposed to an impalement hazard while walking over-top of and in the vicinity of unprotected rebar, on or about 07/10/2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
