29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): A training program was not provided to each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards, to enable that employee to recognize the hazards of falling, and be trained in the procedures to be followed to minimize these hazards: a- 6 New Castle Road, Ocean City NJ: On or about 07/03/13, company employees performing decking installation, floor joist installation and other related activities were exposed to falls hazards of approximately 10 feet to the floor below when they were not provided with any fall protection, guard rails, safety nets, etc. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDTIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 as per 29 CFR 1903.19.
