29 CFR 1926.502(d)(17): The attachment point of the body harness was not located in the center of the wearer's back near shoulder level, or above the wearer's head:    a) 3175 Sundew Dr. NW, Georgia: Employees installing roofing felt onto a variable pitched roof were exposed to arresting forces, in that; lanyards for fall protection were connected to the front of the harnesses without a deceleration device.

29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3): Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of fall protection systems or equipment indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill.   a) 3175 Sundew Dr., Acworth, GA: Employees installing roofing felt onto a roof were exposed to a lower level fall hazard of up to approximately 20 feet, in that; the employees did not understand the proper use personal fall arrest systems. Employees were using body belts that were connected in the front with ascenders and were improperly tied-off.
