29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: At the time of inspection, the hood of the Delta RT40 saw was not effectively guarding the blade of the saw in use. Portions of the hood were broken or in disrepair.

29 CFR 1910.151(b): There was neither an infirmary, clinic, or hospital used for the treatment of all injured employees in near proximity to the workplace nor a person or persons adequately trained to render first aid: At the time of the inspection, the response time of emergency personnel from Braceville Township was approximately 20-25 minutes. Additionally, personnel at the facility were not trained to render first aid. Carter Components was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.151(b) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313855017, citation number 01, item number 002(a) and was affirmed as a final order on February 5, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 3747 State Route 5, Newton Falls, OH.
