29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): Machine guarding was not provided to protect operator(s) and other employees from hazard(s) created by the unused but exposed portion of a band saw blade. On or about 07/24/13, on the west side of the shop, the employer allowed an employee to operate a band saw without a guard on the unused and exposed section of blade in order to cut a structural steel beam.
