29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about July 23, 2013, and at times prior there to, employees of Jose Rangel, a subcontractor to Affordable Construction Company, were observed on the south side of the roof of a commercial dwelling without fall protection. The employees were exposed to a fall of greater than 6 feet to the ground below.
