The use of a body belt in a tethering system or in a restraint system is acceptable and is regulated under 1926.502(e): (a) Worksite, south side of building, elevated work area, canopy - The employee performing demolition operations from a JLG articulating boom aerial lift, Model E300AJP / Serial # 0300166571, in an elevated work area measured to be 16' above the ground, was working without fall protection, on or about July 26, 2013. Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
