29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition:  At the DiversiCare of Sedgwick care facility at 712 N. Monroe Avenue, Sedgwick, Kansas, safety goggles used in the kitchen area were not stored properly in that the protective eye wear was suspended by the elastic retention strap on a wall hook.  This diminished the elastomer qualities and effectiveness of the equipment for the next employee to use when handling detergent cleaners and degreaser chemicals.
