29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. (a) Zak Dirt, 58th St. & Sheridan Blvd., Arvada, CO 80002: On and before July 26, 2013, the general contractor did not ensure that employees of a subcontractor working at a height of approximately 10 feet were provided with an adequate personal fall arrest system. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is not required for this item (see enclosed Abatement-Certification Letter").
