29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets: (a) Location - 5 Essington Drive, Hingham, MA: On or about 07/12/13, an employee carrying boxes of polyethylene sheeting walked out of the building where potential overhead hazards were present, without wearing a hard hat. (b) Location - 5 Essington Drive, Hingham, MA: On or about 07/12/13, an employee was observed not wearing head protection performing site work preparing for asphalt, in close proximity to a building under construction. (c) Location - 5 Essington Drive, Hingham, MA: On or about 07/17/13, an employee was observed not wearing head protection while installing exterior wall paneling, where potential overhead hazards were present. (d) Location - 5 Essington Drive, Hingham, MA: On or about 07/17/13, 3 employees were observed not wearing head protection raking asphalt, in close proximity to a building under construction.
