29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: On or about 07/25/2013, the employer did not ensure that employees strictly adhered to wearing safety eye-wear or facial protection when operating powered hand tools. An employee was observed operating a pneumatic hammer to bust out concrete during the installation of an electrical distribution panel box on an exterior wall, at a property located on the corner of Graham Rd. and Route 8 exit in Stow, OH. The employee was not wearing safety eye-wear or facial protection.
