29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer did not provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application of paints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees. Such facilities were not in near proximity to the worksite and were not so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances:  At light well one on the second floor on or about July 31, 2013, adequate washing facilities were not provided for employees that applied PPG Pitt Tech Plus 90-1240 paint on the interior walls. Water was available in a nearby bathroom, but soap was not provided or available and towels or other drying methods were not provided. Employees had paint on their fingers and hands. In addition, there were no nearby facilities to wash paint from the eye. There were no hoses on the bathroom spigots, and the eyewash was at least a five minute walk away from the work area.
