29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. On or about: 01-AUG-2013 Location: Jobsite located at 21 Baptist Street, Swansea, MA Employees were exposed to fall hazards of 20 feet to the ground below while working on a roof where fall protection was not used. Sergie Miroshnichenko D.B.A. Roofing Doctor was previously cited for violations of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312340797, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/16/2008, with respect to a workplace located at 170 Cole Avenue, Providence, RI and previously cited for violations contained in OSHA inspection number and 312338783 citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/25/2009, with respect to a workplace located at 1255 Hope Street, Bristol, RI.
