OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: 1) On August 1, 2013, and at prior times, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from electrical hazards due to improper installation and use of electrical equipment in the following instances: a) Inadequate strain relief on flexible electrical cords on fan motors throughout the facility. b) Electrical conduit not firmly attached to pump control box at southwest corner of Range 2. c) Electrical conduit damaged at pump in southwest corner of Range 5. d) Missing knock-out cover on control switch near east entry to Range 1.
