The employer does not protect each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels from falling.  This violation was observed on or about August 2, 2013, at the job site where employees were exposed to fall hazards when performing framing activities 6 feet or more above lower levels without a fall protection system.        Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are protected from falling when exposed to falls 6 feet of more above a lower level.
