29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(i) Conductors entering cutout boxes, cabinets, or fittings shall be protected from abrasion, and openings through which conductors enter shall be effectively closed. a) On, or at dates prior to, July 31, 2013, employees were exposed to hazards of electrical shock because electrical conduit of an electrical breaker box had broken free from an electrical cabinet, and a plastic conduit fitting, resulting in conductors being exposed to abrasion and openings not effectively closed. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.
