29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  (a) Recon Department - Employees using chemicals, such as "AS Rim Wire Wheel Cleaner" and "Detailer Wheel Brightener", were not provided with goggles or faceshields, on or about August 6, 2013.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1910.138(a): Employers did not select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasions; punctures; chemical burns; thermal burns; and harmful temperature extremes:  (a) Recon Department - Employees using chemicals, such as "AS Rim Wire Wheel Cleaner" and "Detailer Wheel Brightener", wore Microflex Midnight Black Powder-Free Examination Gloves instead of chemical resistant gloves, on or about August 6, 2013.  Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
