29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Employee(s) engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8m) or more above lower levels were not protected from falling by a guardrail system, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system: a) Roof of 2025 Cooper Lake Road, Smyrna, Georgia. The employees were not protected from falling approximately 15-feet 9-inches to ground level. The employees were not wearing personal fall arrest systems nor had guard rails or safety nets been installed to provide protection from falling. Additionally, there was no warning line and monitor system in place on the 70-foot wide, low-slope, roof. Dixie Roof Decks, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312777394, citation number 01, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 14, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 6715 Oakley Industrial Boulevard, Union City, Georgia.
