29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system: On or about August 6, 2013, employees on the Northeast side of the roof were working without any fall protection, and were exposed to a fall of approximately 20 feet in height to the paved ground below, while installing metal roofing panels on a low-slope roof with a pitch of 2:12.
