29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems or a combination of warning line system and safety monitoring system. a) Roof of 2025 Cooper Lake Road, Smyrna, Georgia. The employees were not protected from falling approximately 15-feet 9-inches to ground level. The employees were wearing personal fall arrest systems. But, they were not connected to a horizontal lifeline, which had been installed on the roof, while working at or near the unprotected edge of the roof.
