29 CFR 1910.107(b)(5)(i): Visible gauges or audible alarm or pressure activated devices were not installed to indicate or insure that the required air velocity is maintained. a) Paint Booth, City Barrel, Inc., 42 Cordier Street, Irvington, NJ 07111. The Dwyer monometer mounted on the spray booth was inoperative during spray painting operations. The spray booth did not have a functioning manometer or other pressure gauge to show the pressure drop across the filter to know if the booth was properly functioning. Filters were coated with overspray and needed replacement. Violation observed on or about 8/8/2013.
