(a) Front side, new residential construction located on Lot #17 Vine Grove Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee installing Hardie Plank Lap Siding on the work bench section of the pump jack scaffold was exposed to falls of approximately 20-feet, 4-inches when a fall protection system was not provided.

29 CFR 1926.452(j)(1): Pump jack brackets, braces, and accessories were not fabricated from metal plates and angles. Each pump jack bracket did not have two positive gripping mechanisms to prevent any failure or slippage. (a) Front side, new residential construction located on Lot #17 Vine Grove Street, Powder Springs, GA 30127: Employee was exposed to possible falls due to collapse while working at heights of 20-feet, 4-inches on a pump jack scaffold system secured by two job-made 1/2-inch plywood bracing instead of ridge metal triangular bracing manufactured to be used with this scaffold system.
