29 CFR 1910.305(b)(1)(ii):  Unused openings in boxes, cabinets, or fittings were not effectively closed:    (a) Plating Area:  On or about August 9, 2013, the 480/277 Volt, electrical panel "B" was missing a blank breaker cover, leaving a 2.5 inch wide  by 1 inch high opening, exposing employees to electric shock hazards.    Component Technologies, Inc. was previously cited for a substantially similar violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311783559, citation number 2, item number 3a and was affirmed as a final order on March 1, 2010, with respect to a workplace located in Newington, Connecticut.

The pH of the electroplating tanks ranged from 0.5 pH to 12.5 pH.
