29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select, and have each affected employee use, the types of PPE that will protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a/ RRE Operations/Raritan NJ Site - Facility Area: The All Purpose gloves selected by the employer did not provide protection where employees are exposed to hazards associated with the use of corrosive chemicals, e.g., Aquarius" (also known as "Sanolite"), "Builder 3000," "Liqua Tronic White" and "Five Star" corrosive cleansers; and bio-hazards associated with the handling of soiled laundry. Locations include but not limited to Maintenance, Laundry and Dietary/Kitchen. Observed on or about 8/9/2013.

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a/ RRE Operations/Raritan NJ Site Laundry: No eye wash facility was provided where "Aquarius" (also known as "Sanolite"), "Builder 3000," "Liqua Tronic White" and "Five Star" corrosive cleansers were used during the laundry washing operation. Full containers of product (approx. 10 gal. capacity) were required to be installed to an automatic washing system by removing the cap(s) and connecting the hose(s) to the container. An eye wash facility to allow for a continuous 15 minutes flow was not provided to prevent employee(s) from being splashed by product when removing cap(s) and iconnecting the hose(s) during the product replacement operation(s). Observed on/or about 8/9/2013.

Electrical panels and junction boxes (voltage 480 Volts/3 phase) were not maintained free of storage material/equipment to allow for a minimum 30 inches of working space. Observed on/or about 8/9/2013.
