29 CFR 1926.651(b)(2): Utility companies or owners were not contacted within established or customary local response times, advised of the proposed work, and asked to establish the location of the utility underground installations prior to the start of the actual excavation. a) 33 Adenas Walk, Glastonbury, CT. Job Site - On or about 8-9-13 - Employees excavating the corner of the foundation to repair a crack in the concrete hit a half inch gas line, underground utilities were not marked prior to starting excavation.
