29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) 1315 Taft Road, Teaneck, NJ: Employees were exposed to fall hazards while engaged in roofing work on a flat roof without the use of guard rails, safety nets, personal fall arrest system, combination of warning line system and safety monitor, or other feasible means of fall protection, on or about 08/12/2013. Cityline Contracting Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314679309, citation number 01, item number 002a and was issued on 9/2/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 100 Elizabeth Avenue, Teaneck, NJ.
