29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): The employer did not ensure that employees using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator, whenever a different respirator facepiece (size, style, model or make) is used, or at least annually thereafter: (a) Enterprise Products Partners L.P. at 1250 County Road 69, Rifle CO: On and before 8/1/13, the employer did not ensure that employees required to use a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were fit tested annually. The employer required employees to wear a tight-fitting respirator during operations such as, but not limited to, sludge catcher filter change and TEG filter change. This condition potentially exposed employees to a respiratory hazard due to improper fit of the respirator.
