29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area.  On or about July 30, 2013, in room 8073, the employer allowed three employees to clean up approximately 1/2 teaspoon of liquid mercury from the floor while failing to provide information or training to those employees regarding the potential hazards of handling mercury prior to exposure.
