OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees are exposed to fall hazards while working on or from unprotected elevated locations: In the following instances fall protection was not provided to employees: a) Potato House - The employees on the roof, 20 feet above the ground, were not protected from falling. b) Potato House - The employees on the scissor lift, 20 feet above the ground, did not install the gate chain and were standing on the guardrails. c) Potato House - The employees on the ground, 8 feet above the basement, were not protected from falling.
