29 CFR 1910.135(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee wear a protective helmet when working in areas where there is a potential for injury to the head from falling objects: a) On August 6, 2013, and times prior thereto, at the bag manufacturing facility in Lake Park, GA, the employer failed to require that press operators donned hard hats when changing rollers, exposing employees to struck-by hazards from heavy rollers being lifted above their heads. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED.
