29 CFR 1910.22(d)(1): On every building or other structure, or part thereof, used for mercantile, business, industrial or storage purposes, the loads approved by the building official were not marked on plates of approved design and securely affixed in a conspicuous place in each space to which they relate.  A)     In the shop, there was a loft used for storage, that did not have it's load rating posted.

29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch:  A)     In the upper shop, there was a bench grinder that had it's tongue guard that was 5/8 of an inch from the surface of the wheel.  B)     In the lower shop, a bench grinder had it's tongue guards missing.

29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by Subpart S of Part 1910, live parts of electric equipment operating  at 50 volts or more were not guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by elevation of 2.44 m (8.0 ft.) or more above the floor or other working surface.  A)     In the upper shop, there was a set of fluorescent lights that did not have protection from damage, and were 7 feet 6 inches from the floor, and 4 feet from the work surface of the bench they were above.
