29 CFR 1926.150(f)(1): Fire walls and exit stairways, required for the completed buildings, were not given construction priority. Fire doors, with automatic closing devices, were not hung on openings as soon as practicable. (a) Location - Building 131; ATCT Exit Stairway: On or about 07/19/13, the single exit stairway of an occupied air traffic control tower was not maintained, due to the fact that a fire rated door from the ETVS Room leading into the exit on the 7th floor had been removed, and not replaced to prevent the spread of fire and smoke. (b) Location - Building 131; ATCT Exit Stairway: On or about 07/19/13, the single exit stairway of an occupied air traffic control tower was not maintained, due to the fact that newly installed fire doors on levels 1, 2, 4 - 6 did not latch, nor have self closing devices to prevent the spread of fire and smoke.
