29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use [ANSIZ358.1-2004]:     a. On or about 07/31/13, at the pump rooms of all pool areas, at Point Pleasant Resort, St. Thomas, VI. Emergency eye wash stations were not provided (eye wash stations water reservoirs were empty) in the immediate areas when employees used and/or handled corrosive products such as Sta Clear muriatic acid (hydrogen chloride), Tropi Clear tabs (Trichloroisocyanuric acid), Clor Mor granules (calcium hypochlorite) and Tropi Clear granular dichlor (sodium dichloro-s-triazinetrione dihydrate) during pool maintenance operations.    NOTE:  Certification of abatement is not required for this citation item as abatement was documented by the compliance safety and health officer during the inspection.
