29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(8)(i): Labels were not affixed to all products and containers containing asbestos including waste containers: a). North Aldenville Sewer Separation Project, Chicopee: Transite sewer pipe removed from a trench on Rolf Ave. contained 20 % asbestos. The pipe which was being disposed of as waste had been placed in a plastic bag but there was no warning label on the bag identifying the contents as containing asbestos. b). Company Yard at 19 Carmelinas Circle, Ludlow: Plastic bags in a dumpster in the companys yard contained asbestos transite pipe from the North Aldenville Sewer Separation Project. Neither the dumpster nor the plastic bags had warning labels identifying the contents as containing asbestos.
