29 CFR 1926.754(e)(2)(ii): Where roof and floor openings were not decked over due to either large size, configuration or other structural design that does not allow openings to be decked over (such as elevator shafts, stair wells, etc.), employees were not protected in accordance with 1926.760(a)(1): (a) Jobsite, 190 Hillside Road, Cranston, RI: Employees working and walking on the decked floor, adjacent to the floor opening which will be part of the elevator shaft, were not provided with adequate fall protection systems.
