29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) Garry Grandy, Alliance, Ohio: On or about August 22, 2013, at address 248 Cummins Ave, Marion, Ohio, the employer did not ensure that all employees exposed to falls had been trained in the appropriate use of fall protection, such as, but not limited to the use of personal fall arrest systems. Multiple employees were exposed to falls of approximately 19.4 feet to the ground below, which could result in permanent disability or death.
