29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(vii): Each employee on a scaffold, not otherwise specified in paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (g)(1)(vi) of this section, more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above lower level was not protected from falls by the use of personal fall arrest systems or guardrail systems meeting the requirements of paragraph (g)(4) of this section. The employer does not provide a personal fall arrest system or a guardrail system for employees working on a scaffold. This violation was observed on or about August 02, 2013, at the worksite where employees were exposed to falls of more than 10 feet while hanging sheetrock from a tubular welded framed scaffold. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that employees are protected from falling when working on a scaffold 10 feet above a lower level.
